FireFly Airlines is a full service point to point carrier and a full subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines that was launched in 2007 and is the first community airline in Malaysia. The branding is colourful and loud, more like the budget airline branding but the airline offers full services in Malaysia's domestic routes together with flights to Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. A new airline venture in Malaysia and affiliate of FireFly, Sapphire is being launched and will be managed by FireFly management.
